Welcome to the web site of the Sitzmarker Ski Club of New Mexico. On our site, we have information on our activities, how to become a member and fun stuff from past events. Join us and have a super time! We had a vrey good but abbreviated 2019-20 ski season. Our Pray for Snow Brunch in November really worked this year with the nearby resorts having received many feet of snow since! The December Wolf Creek trip, the January Purgatory trip and the February Telluride trip were enjoyed by all and big successes. Planning for the 2020-21 season has begun, with hopes to make three-day trips to Telluride and Crested Butte and weekends at Wolf Creek and Purgatory. We'll have to see what we can do in the new COVID-19 world. Arapahoe Basin re-opened for a couple of weeks with a final final closing for the season on June 7.
Social events have been limited, but there was a fun ZOOM Happy Hour and a bike ride in the Bosque in May. Another Zoom Happy Hour is planned for June 17. Check the calendar to see what we used to do and hope to get back to in the near future.
We have a creative and dedicated Board of Directors and we'll continue to have a good time with our friends. Get in touch with us and we'll let you know when there is an opportunity to check us out.
