Celebrating 50 Years of Friends and Fun Times!

Welcome to the web site of the Sitzmarker Ski Club of New Mexico. On our site, we have information on our activities, how to become a member and fun stuff from past events. Join us and have a super time!  We have Winter 2018 ski trips on the calendar to Telluride and Purgatory and some joint trips with the Albuquerque Ski Club.  Signups opened officially at the September meeting and cookout at Elena Gallegos Park.  Our next major event is the annual Pray for Snow Brunch at El Pinto on Sunday Nov. 12 at 11AM, followed by a SNO night out to see the new Warren Miller film on Friday, Dec. 1 and a joint trip to Wolf Creek with ASC Dec. 1-3.

The 2017-18 Membership year will begin November 1.   The dues cover expenses for club events that you will be invited to !!  Summer memberships are available from April 1 to October 31.

Our Mission

To offer our members year-round outdoor and indoor social and recreational activities, including but not limited to skiing (snow and water), golf tournaments, softball league, camping, four-wheel drive treks, picnics, and numerous social events. Our featured activity is downhill skiing, consisting typically of three 2-3 day trips to Colorado resorts. We welcome all over the age of 21 with any common interests.

We had our now-annual club picnic at Supper Rock Park in June - weather was good, the burgers and the company were great!

   

 

We had some great ski trips during the 2015-16 season, and planning has begun for the 2016-17 season!.
