Day 3 was even better than Day 2 with a high of 30 degrees! Wooo Hooo!

Several of us stopped at Gabriel’s on the way home (all not pictured).

Day 2 continued…

Linda T spent 2 1/2 of 3 days helping hubby Mike improve, which he did! Very much!

Second day, the sun came out and it was a Bluebird sky ski day. We skied and played in all those freshies with a high of 17!

The first of 3 days skiing was whiteout conditions and a high of 11. Brrrrrr! But worth the freshies we got to ski!

Monarch Trip a Success

Linda Pegues Campbell

And a good time was had by all.  Here are some pics from the fabulous, fun, and well planned and implemented ski trip. Our Fearless Leader Julie definitely picked the right ski area at the right time! They got some much needed snow before and while we were there. The accommodations were amazing, especially the very hot and private hot tubs. They were much needed after each ski day and looking up at the bright stars did not disappoint.

Friday night Happy Hour was well organized and alot of fun with 29 attendees – meeting new and chatting with old ski buddies.  And Saturday night, we grouped up and went into the big town of Salida.

After day three of skiing, several of us stopped at Gabriel’s of Santa Fe for a little more camaraderie and  great grub on the way home.

Thank you Julie for all you did to make Monarch a great memory and success!
