Trip Details: This is a drive up trip. We will work with people who are going on the trip to coordinate those who are driving and those who need a ride. We hope that drivers will take 3 passengers. Drivers will receive a transportation fee from the Club based upon the number of passengers. (Approximately 4 hours and 45 minute drive.)
We are NOT buying lift tickets. Monarch has a new program “The Flex Ticket” designed for those who want flexibility without the commitment of a season pass. You choose how many days you want to ski and use them whenever you want during the 2026–27 season. No blackouts and no restrictions. Just the freedom to ski and ride on your schedule. It is a good deal.
“Super Senior (69+) is available again this year. “To make life a little more convenient for our Super-Seniors, instead of day-tickets we offer our Super Seniors a Monarch Only Season Pass for $25. This Season Pass, once in hand, allows you to go straight to lift on any and every day of the season and includes all of the on-mountain benefits of a regular season pass.”
We will be staying at Creekside Chalets and the Comfort Inn, Salida, just minutes from Monarch Mountain and a short drive to Salida. Creekside Chalets cabins have full kitchens and private hot tubs. Comfort Inn has a hot tub and a hot breakfast bar. Our social plans make this trip special! Also, there are a number of snowshoeing and cross-country trails nearby. Speak to the Ski Trip Coordinator regarding preferences for sharing cabins.
Friday evening’s heavy hor-de-vors happy hour at the cabins are included in the pricing (Bring your beverage). For Saturday evening we have options to go into Salida for no host dinner.
